3M High Temperature Paint Masking Film 7300 is a high performance, high temperature gross masking film that is soft flexing for good drape and conformability. For OEM two-tone paint, blackout, and repair painting of autos, bus, trucks and fascia. Can be used from a dispenser in conjunction with masking tapes.
3M High Temperature Paint Masking Film 7300 is ideal for protecting against bleed-through of solvents and paints and offers better protection than masking paper. It also reduces contamination normally associated with fibrous paper products. Special soft film offers good conformability and is easy to handle. Most paints have excellent adhesion to 7300. Masking tapes have excellent adhesion to 7300 film. Tape and film can be dispensed together using existing apron tapers. Typical physical and performance characteristics include: thickness: 2.9 mils, tensile strength: 8.8 lbs./in. width, elongation at break: 600%, temperature use range: Up to 310(deg)F. Translucent.
